Using a gentle touch with the right tools on skin you have properly prepared will ensure a great shaving experience while reducing ingrown hairs and skin irritation.

Use the right tools!

Use a razor that’s sharp and in good condition. There’s nothing worse than a razor with rusty or worn out blades. For a great shaving experience, use a razor with double-blades that you change often. The number of blades, however, is not as important as their condition (not worn, not rusted).

Use a suitable shaving technique to reduce inflammation, cuts and ingrown hairs.

Shave in the direction of the hair growth. Using a light touch, start at the top of your cheeks and glide the razor down to the bottom of your neck. This will reduce irritation, cuts and ingrown hairs.

If you want to shave a second time, apply a few drops of shaving oil to your skin and lightly run the razor against the direction of the hair growth. This technique is not recommended for sensitive or irritated skin.

Note : Because the shaving oil is invisible, it’s best to start on one side of your face and then pass to the other side by shaving above your upper lip (moustache). Then shave starting from the jawbone and down your neck.

Enhance your shave with an organic shaving oil.

Wet your skin abundantly with very hot water. (It’s best to shave when you’ve just stepped out of the shower.) This will help open the pores and soften the skin and hairs, facilitating shaving.

Generously apply organic shaving oil "01" over the entire area you will be shaving, not excessively but enough so that your razor can glide over your skin without irritating it. (Remember to include your neck.) Note: Prepare a container of very hot water for rinsing your razor throughout the shave.

Shave your skin in the same direction as the growth. Depending on your preference, rinse your skin with clean water or dry it immediately by gently patting it with a towel so as not to irritate your skin.

Spray Organic Peppermint soothing mist "02" to tighten the pores and counterbalance the effect of hard water by quickly restoring the pH of your skin.

Finally, moisturize your skin by applying a moisturizing serum suitable for your skin type: "03M" for combination skin, "03G" for oily skin, "03S" for dry skin or "03A" for mature skin.

Should organic shaving oil be used alone or in addition to shaving foam or shaving soap?

Shaving oil can be used on its own as well as before your shaving foam or shaving soap. Our shaving oil is formulated for men who wish to use a shaving product without chemical preservatives, parabens or petrochemicals. It helps protect your skin’s hydrolipidic barrier and softens the hairs for a smoother shave that is less irritating to your skin.
