During the winter period, the cold and temperature differences further alter your hydrolipidic film. Your skin becomes drier and more dehydrated. It also becomes rougher and more sensitive. EXFOLIATION

Every 15 days, preferably in the evening, you can perform a gentle exfoliation (if possible without grain, using gentle, circular massages) followed by the application of a moisturizing mask, and a moisturizing treatment.

For what?
Exfoliation or scrub aims to eliminate dead cells on the surface of the skin, dislodge impurities and unclog pores. It stimulates cell renewal and facilitates the penetration of treatments applied subsequently. The complexion is brighter and the skin regains its softness.
However, it weakens the hydrolipidic film which protects your skin. This is why it is better to do it in the evening, the skin is less exposed to pollutants and external aggressions. It should be ideally followed by a moisturizing mask and necessarily a serum to protect the skin and help it rebuild its protective barrier.
A good option:
Masks with toning, purifying and exfoliating yellow clay, are a good option for mature skin. Rich in manganese, which accentuates the production of iron and collagen, it has anti-wrinkle properties. Since clay works by absorption mechanism (sebum) and adsorption (attracts and binds to impurities), it is preferable not to leave it on for more than 10 minutes to avoid drying out the skin and damage the hydrolipidic film. Rinse off your clay mask before it is completely dry, when the edges begin to dry around the face and eyes and along the edges of the nose and lips. Apply your serum as well as a little moisturizing shea balm.

 

MAKEUP

Opt for a mineral foundation in compact powder in the color of your skin to avoid a distinction with the neck. It deposits less material and marks less dry areas. Its texture enhances the complexion while unifying it. Avoid overly covering foundations and BB creams which clog the pores of the skin, which encourages the appearance of blackheads, pimples and dryness.
